I was asked recently about tools that allow students to create web pages that can then be linked to a teacher homepage.  One resource for this is Weebly.  Weebly is a free resource for you and your students to create websites or blogs.  Weebly is user-friendly, intuitive, and, again, FREE, so it is a great way to get started with the PRODUCTION of content using technology, not just the CONSUMPTION of content.

One tip: While I would share this resource with students, I would also consider allowing students to share their own resources.  I am constantly amazed by what some students already know and are able to do if we give them the freedom to do it.  Many of our students already have web pages, blogs, and other means of communicating their world to the world.  Maybe we can allow them to use those formats for academic work?
