Texting for Digital Storytelling

Students can use text messages or a backchannel discussion to write a story following the idea of the game Telephone.  Each student adds one or more sentences or a paragraph as they create a story following a particular genre or theme.  This activity can be done in a small group or with the whole class.  Students who struggle with reading and/or writing benefit from the collaborative effort and working with other students.
