Students’ daily lives differ considerably, especially in more diverse areas.  One thing that varies is the food that students eat.  Students can take photos of their meals and bring them to class to start discussions on nutrition and caloric intake as well as ethnicity and culture.  This is a great way for students to identify cultural similarities and differences with their peers.
