Integrating Video in Language Arts

After students read a story, have them create a video interpretation to retell the story.  The video can highlight key details and demonstrate understanding of the central message or lesson.

This  strategy works well for students in language arts.  It also works well for students taking a foreign language and students who are English language learners.
