Goodreader app iTunes iconGoodReader is a great educational tool for students and teachers to annotate and study text including the Close Reading process.  GoodReader has an easy-to-use toolbar that can be collapsed when not in use.  Students can use traditional annotation tools to highlight, cross out, and underline in multiple colors.  Students can also add text in boxes or callout shapes or even free hand on the document.  GoodReader also has tools for drawing lines, arrows, and shapes to help students note specific text or text types.  GoodReader also has a sticky note tool so that students can make study notes to themselves.  Users can connect the GoodReader app to a number of file storage services including Dropbox, Box, and Google Drive.
