Favorite Apps from Your Colleagues

Dec 10, 2012 by

As many of you know, I just finished a sort of Fall Tour on Mobile Learning in the Classroom.  I really enjoyed working with so many great tech leaders  AND blowing some of them up…   Please feel free to be in touch with your ideas, successes, resources, failures, questions, etc. as you continue to advocate for the tech revolution in schools.  Some of you have already set it up with your administration to have me visit your school sometime in the next year.  Thank you and I look forward to working with you again.

The next few weeks I will be sharing some of the free apps and resources I learned about or was reminded of from all of you.  I have not used or reviewed all of them in detail although I have played around with most of them at some point.  Here are some of your favorite FREE resources as shared by your colleagues:

Letris is a free word game app for students to play…

NPR is… well, NPR.  Great source for news and current events.

App Gratis is a website and app for phones- one free app a day to download

Air Video Free is a way to project lessons in class

Explain Everything is a tool to annotate videos.  Perhaps to start flipping your classroom?
