Favorite Apps from Colleagues

Dec 20, 2012 by

As we head into holiday break, this is the last week of sharing some of the free apps and resources I learned about or was reminded of from all of you.  I have not used or reviewed all of them in detail although I have played around with most of them at some point.  While all the links will be to the iTunes Store, most of the apps will also be available for Android devices.  Here are some of your favorite FREE resources as shared by your colleagues:

SimplePhysics “lets you design complex structures for everything from tree houses to ferris wheels and then simulates your design with a sophisticated physics engine.”

Molecules “is an application for viewing three-dimensional renderings of molecules and manipulating them using your fingers.”

24 Game: “The goal is to make the number 24 using all four numbers on the card. You can add, subtract, multiply or divide. Each number can only be used once and yes, there is at least one solution to each card! Most cards have multiple solutions.”
