Favorite Apps from Colleagues

Dec 18, 2012 by

As we head into holiday break, this is the last week of sharing some of the free apps and resources I learned about or was reminded of from all of you.  I have not used or reviewed all of them in detail although I have played around with most of them at some point.  Here are some of your favorite FREE resources as shared by your colleagues:

Thumbjam is a musical app that allows you to play multiple instruments.  It does cost $8.99 but may be a cool app for a music teacher to demonstrate instruments or sounds with in class.

Quizlet is a great flashcard app for quizzing students.  Create your own quizzes and sync them or choose from over   15 million flash cards already created.

Picturebook allows you to “create and share your very own illustrated stories in a few simple steps.”

  1. Hi,
I use Picture Book in my World Languages Classes, even my advanced students have done some amazing things with it. Some pics have to be purchased, but they enjoy it when we use it.
