Crash Course Learning Videos

Apr 3, 2013 by

Crash Course is a YouTube site full of videos for learning.  Too many examples to explain here but you can find videos for history, literature, biology, ecology, etc.  A great site for teachers to use as either instructional content for their own class or to give students as an alternative to watch outside of class.  It is very, very important that we give our students multiple options to access content- both from a sensory standpoint (audio, visual, tactile) but also from the perspective of who delivers the content (the teacher, a video, a Skype call with an expert, a textbook, etc.).  Crash Course is a site I would introduce to students so that they can search for videos if they are having trouble understanding a concept in class because my explanations aren’t clear enough.
